Watching Gangland on the TV about two rival gangs in St Louis ... Their turf borders each other.. One gang kills the other gangs leader.. Bad enough in itself for stepping on the rival gangs turf he gets killed.. But to add insult to injury the day they bury him that night the rival gang members go out dig him up put him in a car and take him to his moms house and dumps him on the front porch.. Tough crowd.. Sheltered here in Donegal .. The only gangs we have here are the Pagans and they just provide good drugs..

nothing really surprises me at all around here anymore.I'm glad were living up to that prestigious #1 most dangerous city in America ranking.

on a serious note the gang problem is def a real big problem in this country.......i teach at a high school with near 3000 students and i see it all.......see the real gang members as well as the wannabees.......most of the kids that end up deep into these gangs have shitty situations at home and it sucks to witness this go on.......at a fire drill at school last year I had a gang member ask me if i wanted to "step" after I told his ass to get away from a girl in my class and go back to where he came from........he didn't get the reaction he wanted as I stayed calm enough and simply laughed at him.......later on that day i found him and pulled him aside to try and talk some sense into him and he told me about how he had to protect his image, etc. and apologized for the way he spoke to me......I still wrote his ass up but in the process I also learned his father and brother were serving life in prision for murder charges......the brother had killed on of his own cousins for getting out of the gang!!
