NX has had good volume yesterday and today and a breakout day today closed over $54 which looked to be previous resistance should have follow through tomorrow with volume like this.. might be something to keep an eye on.

I like it Legion. Picked up 100 sh for now at $54.48. Maybe a bit high but the breakout from the 5 month sideways action is a good sign with the pick up in volume. Could be a sleeper.

Quanex Building Products Corp. (NYSE: NXwi) will replace Quanex Corp. (NYSE: NX) in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on Wednesday, April 23. Quanex Building Products is being spun off by Quanex Corp. and will be immediately followed by Quanex Corp. being acquired by a subsidiary of S&P Global 1200 constituent Gerdau S.A. Both transactions are expected to be completed on or about that date, pending final approvals.

I really like the movement on this one so far Legion. Nice call. Slow steady, low volume but gaining.
52 week high coming @ 55.51 could see resistance. Otherwise the breakout is textbook.
Hope you grabbed some. Setting stops @ $53.80 for now with a 2% trailing stop.

no i missed the buy in on it yesterday and im trying to refrain from buying things at the top. glad you got in though still a plus that i picked another one. starting to actually see patterns a little bit.

Was going to take profits today for a small gain but it gapped down. Sold off @ 54.68 to break even more or less after commission
