Observation I Made While Watching

women's college basketball...there seems to be a higher proportion of white women playing on teams than there are black women playing...but when you look at men's basketball the inverse is apparent...why is that?

i like to think...and this just struck me...i really do not have a theory...not yet anyway...never thought about it til tonite when i saw all of these white chicks on all of these teams

hi rio, maybe white girls are interested in playing basketball more than the black as the black women enjoy watching the black guys play bball

could be...here is one theory i have...black males play it moreso because they have the possibility of making money from it...whereas for women there is not as much of a likelihood for that...but that still does not take in account why would the white women want to play it moreso than the blacks...is it because of after school programs that are plentiful to suburban kids while growing up? black men had the chance to play on the playground and the streets...not so much the chance for black women i would guess...will have to think more about this...did searching for it on the net, but really could not come across anything specifically geared toward my thesis statement

Did anyone see that NCAAW highlight last night where that one girl reached around the other, got her arm caught in between the ball and the other girls body, the second girl leans over while pulling the first girl OVER her back slamming her into the floor. Then the girl who got suplexed gets called for the foul. It was friggin awesome. Some of these girls can throw others around like ragdolls.

NOTE: I cannot actually sit through a whole woman's bball game although many people around here do (lady huskies) I just find the highlights histerical sometimes (dunks are like friggin AMAZING lol).

To stay on topic I beleive it was a black girl throwing a white girl, can't exactly remember though. Not like it matters.
