Oil Pump in a '97 Ford Probe

Did the alternator belt a couple weeks ago, now its time to tackle this feat or junk it. Anybody got a step-by-step? The Maxi place said it would take them 6 hours labor. ugh....

It will take you an entire day...sun up to sun down. Because one of the housings will be cracked and you will have to go get one and then they will tell you only the store in "such and such a town" has it. And then by the time you get back home, you will spend an hour looking for the stupid 5/8 inch wrench that suddenly walked away...I would just bite the bullet, or get the step by step from a local parts store. They normally have cheat sheets available if you ask.

That oil pump is driven by the timing belt.If you don't know what you are doing you can create a major problem.The oil pan needs to come off.T-belt needs to come off and be installed correctly (Never reuse a timing belt)or major engine damage will happen.If you know your shit tackle it if you don't pay someone to do it.
