Old computer game

I need the name of this old computer game i used to play a long time ago. Been bugging me for a week or so and i can't find the title after some long research.

Basically what i can remember is that earth is no longer inhabitable so u need to pack up a shuttle and choose a new galaxy to inhabit to continue the human race. You have limited space on the shuttle and can only take a certain number of people/doctors/engineers or whatever, and a certain number of food modules, etc. Once there you land and need to deploy ur modules and start building new stuff to make ur little colony survive, oxygen generators for example. Bad stuff happens like wind storms, etc. which damage ur structures and i think other colonies attack ur one if u r not alone on ur planet.

Game was from somewhere between like 1995 and 2001 i think. Decent graphics and i'm sure the name was just one word.
