Opinions...

What do you guys think about Countrywide if it gets around the $10 mark? I plan on holding around 3-10 yrs. Feds keep pumping money in and I don't see them ever going bankrupt or anything like that. I am in the housing industry and I just see a temporary adjustment being made and would like to capitalize. As far as lending, the adjustment will be just some tighter restrictions and the minimum 10%-20% to purchase and no more 100% financing and easy qualifying IMO. Thoughts?

I doubt it gets that low but the economy is obviously very weak so who knows. No better time to buy long term than when no one else wants it. Just be sure of the fundementals first.
AHM shocked their stockholders and screwed a lot of people before they bit it.

Once this shakes out the volatility in the market should subside and the market should recover. likely in October or November. You should be able to find a great buying point before then if youre long.

Im speaking in general terms and not about this particular stock, if you ask me they should fry along with Moody
