Another man has been caught allegedly taking inappropriate photographs of women at the Australian Open tennis tournament in Melbourne.

The 35-year-old Werribee man was arrested late Monday and interviewed by police at their Melbourne headquarters.

"It was alleged he had been taking inappropriate photographs of females at the tennis," Victoria Police Senior Constable Bradi Owens said.

"The man was brought to police attention late this afternoon by a woman who had observed him using a digital camera."

Const Owens said the man was released from custody Monday night and was expected to be charged on summons with offensive behaviour.

It is the second case of a man being arrested on suspicion of taking inappropriate photographs at the January 15-28 tennis tournament.

Two women complained to police on Wednesday last week that a man had been trying to film up their skirts with a hand-held digital camera.

Police found the 32-year-old man and seized his camera equipment.

He also is expected to be charged on summons with offensive behaviour and using surveillance equipment.

Was it a female tennis player who complained??
Then they should wear longer skirts so that the skirts don't "helicopter" upwards when they do a quick spin move to return a backhander.

its not like they wear panties anywhere...they wear spandex...you often can see up the skirt when they slide or fall and they are wearing spandex...so shouldnt be any big deal

Maybe these 2 women were also banned from that buffet restaurant for wearing skirts that doesn't cover their bellies.
