Overactive Thyroid Question

Anyone have a thyroid problem? I was diagnosis yesterday with an overactive thyroid. I went from 200 lbs to 150 lbs in 6 months and decided to get checked and see what was wrong with me. The doctor put me on Propylthiour 50mg twice a day to get the thyroid numbers down and Propranolol 160mg once a day for high blood pressure, rapid heart rate and body tremors. He said it might take a year to get the thyroid levels back to normal then he will change the medication.

When I stand still. My hands, arms and legs will start to shake. When walking, sitting or moving around there are no shakes.

That is what it is. Glad to hear your mother is doing well with it. I`m looking for a positive outcome.
