Packers are a FREE bet this Monday

Monday Night Madness Backs the Pack

This week’s Monday Night Madness is the last week where the $100 bet and the 20% signup bonus are both up for grabs. They say the third time is always the charm. For the last two weeks BetWWTS.com has been offering the first 1000 signups a chance to make a free $100 bet on one particular side of the Monday Night Football game. This week is no different, on October the 2nd, Monday Night Madness is going to the city of Brotherly Love. The Green Bay Packers are on the road to meet the Philadelphia Eagles and BetWWTS is going to Back-the-Pack all the way. This week’s free bet rides on Green Bay at +11 ATS.

In last Monday’s game in New Orleans where the promo’s free bet was riding on Atlanta, the Saints returned to the Super Dome in style with a 23-3 win over the Falcons. For the participants of the Monday Night Madness, watching the Falcons first series punt get blocked and returned for a TD did not induce the panic it could have. That really is the best part of this promo. After you sign up, you just sit and enjoy the game for what it is, without the wager hanging over you.

So why would BetWWTS pick Green Bay Packers as the side to guarantee, when they are clearly the heavy underdog on the road in the tough city of Philadelphia? Aside from the fact they want you to win, looking at some trends is as good a place as any to start. The Packers are a Monday Night team, going 12-5 ATS in their last 17 Monday tilts. On the contrary, the Eagles are 0-4 in their last 4 Monday night games. The Eagles are 1-4 against the spread in their last 5 as home favorites and a dismal 0-5 in their last 5 following a straight-up win. Put all of those trends aside and Green Bay still might be the better pick based on two words, Brett Favre. The sure-fire Hall of Famer has been fantastic of late throwing 340 yards and 3 TD’s in back to back games, while only being picked off once in that span. Coming off a win, the Packers are looking to prove their many critics wrong. There really is no better a time to establish yourself, than on Monday Night Football.

Monday Night Madness is available to the first 1000 new signups at BetWWTS.com. Players receive a free $100 dollar bet on the Green Bay Packers to cover the 11 point spread against the Eagles. If the Packers win or the Eagles do not cover, then the participant gets the $100 he or she put down refunded into their accounts with no rollover requirements. If the Packers do cover the spread though, then players receive the regular payout of the standard bet.

Following this Week 4 promo, on Monday October the 9th, the Baltimore Ravens will be flying into the mile-high city to lock horns with the Denver Broncos. Stay tuned for more details on which side we guarantee for week 5.

Guys - I am not sure if this will be ending all together this week or only the additional 20% signup bonus. Only the first 1000 get the promo

This Monday’s Green Bay Packers at Philadelphia Eagles match-up will be the last time we’re offering new bettors, to BetWWTS.com, the $100 Risk Free Bet AND 20% signup bonus. As of Tuesday morning, the deal that seemed too good to be true will be gone.

Pitt was Week 2 when they played the Jaguars. Not sure there was a free play for week 1. I think it's 0-2 so far.

Jack,
2 questions please ...

1) in this thread, you seem to imply that you don't have a choice as to which team you choose, saying the pick will be on the Packers, but the BetWWTS page for this promotion makes no mention of a predetermined pick. It only implies that if you wagered on the game & win, you win. If you lose, then $100 is refunded ... so I find that to be a bit confusing.

2) speaking of confusion (seems to be a theme with me, sorry), I made my Deposit this past week on Thursday & thought I had qualified to make this wager. I actually ended up liking the Packers & seeing that the line was rising, I decided to wait until Monday evening because I figured I might as well try to get the Packers + as many points as possible. Sure enough, it had climbed to -11.5 or -12 in the hours before kickoff. Anyway, I went to make my wager & it now said "Update: The Monday Night Madness promo has reached 1,000 entrants and has been taken down for this week."

I thought that once I had made my Deposit & qualified, I could make my wager anytime during the week. The rules didn't say it was limited to the 1st 1,000 people to make a wager, it said the 1st 1,000 new signups. So my question is how did I go from qualified to unqualified?

I'm really bummed because it's currently 3Q & it looks like I would've won, but I never even got to try & I was there ready to make my bet. I doubt you can help, unless your understanding is the same as mine. If so, if there's anything you can do to possibly get me a pick on next week's MNF game or anything, I sure would appreciate any effort. I did call BetWWTS & the rep wasn't very knowledgable, she just said that it had been taken down & reached the 1,000 new signups ... I thought I was one of them.

Thanks for your time,
Wes F.

Wes,

It absolutely is a one team guarantee and when the promo is announced it clearly stated you must take the Packers for the free bet. Note the title of this thread and the section in post one that I have bolded.

I am also under the impressions it’s first 1000 who do the promo and take the Packers. It can’t be when you sign up because if they held all those spots – I am sure some of them people bet the Eagles and it would not be 1000 people.

Wes – Unfortunately I have to be honest but this promo is pretty clear on the promotion of what team to play and when the promo gets pulled. I am not sure anything can or should be done. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Jack,
not questioning the title of the thread or what you have said. You are right ... what is at the top of this thread & the title of this thread are perfectly clear. What I was saying is that when I clicked the link you had provided for this contest ...

http://www.betwwts.com/PAGE.ASP?CONT...HT_MADNESS.ASP

it makes no mention of which team you have to take ... it just says Free $100 Bet, then the rules. I never saw mention at their site that it had to be the Packers, just here at yours. Maybe it says that on a different screen ... if so, I only saw the 1 page above, so maybe that would've become apparent once the progress had begun.

Okay, you just said "it can't be for when you sign up" & their 1st rule says ...

- Offer only valid for the first 1000 new signups each week.

To me, that meant new signups to the site. I don't think they should've used the word "signup" if they meant the "first 1,000 to wager on the Packers". If they said that, it would've certainly been clearer ... even to me.

Thanks anyway ... it looks like another loser now, so I'm no worse off for missing my chance.

Wes, Before the promo is pulled the wording on that page is exactly the same as posted in post #1. It clearly states only on the Packers. You will see this coming week. take a look (if they do it still)
