Peat Pots
I graft trees for duck clubs and I am looking for peat pots that are at least 1 gallon or bigger. Does anyone know where I can find big peat pots ? Have been using plastic nursery pots but I lose a lot of my root growth when I transfer them into the marsh. Any help appreciated .

Thanks but no thanks, I grow willow trees for a duck club and I am looking for 1 gallon peat pots at least. Each year my trees get stunted due to loss of root growth. I use vitamin b and it helps but I want to use a peat pot because then I don't have to worry about ripping the pot away from the tree. I use cuttings off of the willows from the marsh. In the summer the marsh here drys up so I have to store these trees for months. All the while the root systems growing thru the bucket drains holes. Going to read how to make them. Any other info would be appreciated. |
