THE ART AND SCIENCE OF PICKING GOLF WINNERS
1. CLOSER with CHARACTER. Certain guys see the finish line and cross it and others are destined for second place.
2. RELAXED CONFIDENCE, FOCUS and a HUNGER to win. It's a mental game and their mind has to be in the right frame with a determination and focus. As Harry Vardon said: "To play well you must feel tranquil and at peace. I have never been troubled by nerves in golf because I felt I had nothing to lose and everything to gain."
3. COURSE. Does the course layout favor the strengths of the golfer and does it expose their weaknesses. Previous form can change immediately for those who feel comfortable on a course and its greens.

unfortunately, don't think it'll be much of a problem for your boys next week...

Young QB (albeit a VERY good AGGIE QB ) and our defense sucks.

Randell should just keep his mouth shut, this had nothing to do with the players this had to do with the safety of the 80,000 people coming and going to the stadium. When they cancelled the game the forecast was for 16-20 inches of snow and what would he be saying if 80,000 fans were stranded at the end of the game because their cars were buried, or god forbid people get killed on the roads. Maybe somebody from the Philly area can confirm but I heard that they had asked all people with the exception of emergencies to stay off the road by 2pm yesterday afternoon, so if the city of Philadelphia was asking people to stay off the roads then how in the world can Randell be bitching about this.

NFL has shown players don't mean that much to them when they had no problem letting last weeks game game be played at a college stadium that wasn't up to NFL standards when they were calling for a blizzard for that game as well.

All about revenue and the number of people that would have been at that game, bottom line is it's a business and a business decision was made

Living in NYC.. they got lucky with the upcoming Pinstripe bowl at Yankee stadium. They are playing with fire with the 2014 SuperBowl. But I love watching cold weather games. Had a blast at the 95 snowball game at Giant Stadium... even though it was friggin cold.
