People who use LOL, LMAO, j/k, and others?

Are they douchebags, dorks, computer savvy, ahead of the game? I try to use those computer abbreviations sometimes but it just doesnt feel right and I wonder if I am the only one?

i'm definitely guilty of pulling the LOL thing out, i've done it for so many yrs and half the time it's more of a response for something that i find entertaining but don't really have a good comment in return....
