People you didn't know were dead thread

I've started drinking so have some thread ideas that may or may not live up to my "Hall of Fame" status

I just found out yesterday that Ben Orr who was a co-singer and guitarist from "The Cars" was dead and had been for several years.

Any other people out there that you found out were deceased that you had no idea were until maybe years later?

And people you thought were dead, but are very much alive

Believe Abe Vigoda would be the most famous on this list, I think he actually writes on his website that he's still alive

I heard last week that Michael Jackson had died. Kinda shocked I didn't hear anything about this.
