Personal Trainers/Dieticians??

Ok, Have some questions.... I am starting P90X today. My big problem has always been my nutrion. I want to get this on track during this program and beyond.... Here is what i have.... My goal is to shed weight. Current calorie intake is about 3500.

1) Where should i be at in regards to Calories / Protein / Fat / Carb intake each day..

2) I usually dont eat breakfast, which i know i have to change.. i hate oatmeal/yogurt. What other breakfast ideas would be good.

Thanks guys. Any other tips/pointers are appreciated.

But seriously, don't adjust your diet drastically without expecting dire consequences. Change it gradually.

Read that it's the carbonation in the soda that will bloat you then you tend to fill that temporary excessive stomach stretch with solid foods more and more. One pop can a day is sufficient for me--I need that extra sugar/caffeine to function at a higher energy level in my work.

Excessive salt can also bloat you and is worse than sugar.

I look at "sweets" as energy boosts as well. I'm not giving up on sugar.

You can take your health for granted when young but after 35 you'll have no choice to adjust.

Soda is gonna kill ya. I drink Calistoga lemon flavored water. The carbination cuts the craving for soda.

In the morning I eat a hard boiled egg, banana and wheat toast with peanut butter.

Good luck

been a month that I have been going to a weight loss clinic funded by the Ontario Government
I was doing 3200 calories, now they had me cut it down to 2200 cal. so I would shed 2lbs a week....
I eat 6 times a day now, every 2 hours roughly...
I usually have 250 cal. for breakfast, 150 cal. snack, 600 cal. for lunch, another 150 cal. snack, 700 cal. for dinner and another 150 cal. snack....
I try to include foods that are high in protein and fiber, and try to cut down the fat and carbs....now i'm hungry, F@#K!
so far so good, lost 12lbs, next weigh in is on the 22nd....

GL man.

It must be pretty bad if it's funded by the Gov.

Come to think of it, how many calories is a reg beer...100? 150? Drink a six-pack a day and you're halfway up the 2000 cal per day.

After the Superbowl I'll take 2-3 months off gambling and posting at the mall. I'll do some repainting and a few other things in and around the house. Need to lose 18 more pounds from that extra 40 gained last two years.

No actually it's pretty decent, they take the time to teach you....go for blood tests, stress tests, and bunch of other tests just to make sure everything is fine....and it beats paying for this type of service....
