Question Phil Jackson or Bill Parcells or Joe Torre

If you had to pick one as the better coach/mgr or leader who would it be?

Parcells. He is the only one to win a championship without rediculious talent.

Considering they coach three different sports, it is really a meaningless question. I know you are trying to facilitate discussion Jack, but some of these are getting pretty bad.

Definitely Parcells. Some of Jackson's teams would have won the NBA championship with Big Pimpin as their coach...... And the yankees are loaded with talent every year... Torre was average at best with the Cardinals... moves to the Yankees and wins a WS right off the bat....

Dont know about that... BP would have been tossed out all 82 games.

jerome,
upon further review, Your'e probably right, torre has been pretty mediocre everywhere but NYY. I just looked up his career coaching records, I thought he had done better with the Cardinals. I certainly like the Tuna(especially his team) But I think its hard to say a guy is not a great coach because he has great talent/ they usually go hand and hand. So I'll change my vote to
Phil Jackson(and I hate the guy).

The Tuna hands down. Jackson can't win a championship without a stacked team and neither can Torre. Give Torre a $60 million payroll and you'll see his old coaching skills or lack there of come into play.

JB – Some of us actually are mentally stable enough to debate sport to sport

Debating football to baseball to basketball. There's a pointless exercise if I ever heard of one.

Hey Jack, who do you think is the better Linebacker:

Bernie Williams or Chris Bosh?
