Exclamation Pinnacle no longer accepting US Customers

OMG

Dear Sir,

After careful consideration, Pinnacle Sports has made the decision to voluntarily exit the U.S. market. Accordingly, as of Thursday, 11 January 2007, wagers will no longer be accepted from clients within the U.S. This decision was given much thought by the Management of Pinnacle Sports and one we do not anticipate changing.

Please be assured that all funds will be returned to our clients. You may use the Cashier of your account to process your withdrawal. Our normal policies for withdrawals will apply.

Any pending wagers in your account will be honored by Pinnacle Sports. As your wagers are graded, you may use the Cashier of your account to request any balance due.

Pinnacle Sports will continue providing our services to our non-US based clients.

We sincerely appreciate your support of our site and apologize in advance for any slight delays you may encounter as we exit our US clients.

Regards,

Customer Service Department
Pinnacle Sports

Thank you Upinya I figured it was either this or Pinnacle was afraid of my super-sharp $100 college bball wagers.

Looks like its back to betjam.

My guess is they think they can survive without the US and would rather play it safe. The background of Pinnacle is fairly unknown compared to some others.

It looks like Bet Jamaica, BetCris, The Greek and other top long surviving private books will reap the benefits. I recommending moving to one of these books.

This is very bad news. I have been following this whole situation pretty closely since the bill was passed. The overall consensus seems to be that things will continue to get worse leading up to July 2007 when the bill essentially takes effect. People are anticpating a 2 year shutdown of online gambling, then believe it or not, it will come back as a legal entity in the US market.

Neteller will be announcing very soon that they are done accepting US money.

Expect a few more books to close very soon as well. The guys that run these books have made so much money over the last 10 years thay they know they can shut down for a year or 2, avoid prosecution, and come back when the heat is off.
