Pittsburgh Left/Tunnels?

Does this happen everywhere or is it really just a dumbass Pittsburgh thing?

You're sitting at a traffic light and have to turn left....opposing traffic has the right of way...light turns green and you haul ass to make the left turn before the opposing traffic gets to you....they call that the Pittsburgh Left here, but is that really something that just happens here?

Also, I don't know why, but mother ****ers slow down when they get to a tunnel here. People here will literally drop down to like 25 mph in a tunnel so traffic backs up, then you get through and there's nothing on the other side and everyone is doing 60.....again, Pittsburgh only thing?

lol thanks man, but i don't think there is a human being who lives anywhere near the city who hasn't gone to see that beautiful skyline at some point
