Please explain to me how Billy Beane has a movie about him?

What has the guy ever accomplished in the major leagues? A bunch of talent traded? Is he the most overrated GM in baseball?

Billy Beane was the innovator of money ball general management in the major league's... the 30-30-30 formula that equaled 90+ wins in a season on a less than 30 mil team salary... right?

pretty ****in impressive in my opinion

his scouting-from-a-distance methodology changed the entire way baseball teams evaluate talent and without him it may have taken longer for teams to embrace sabremetrics
