Hi I bet with betUS.com. It's the first book I've played with and have recently won money and trying to receive a payout. However, they are saying I have to fax in front and back of my credit card, my driver license, bank account number, routing number, and all my bank information. I mean is this safe?? I'm a little concerned about sending all my personal information like that. Is that necessary? Man I tell ya, they make it so easy to deposit but so hard to get money back! Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you have to give up your bank information if you request a check via Fedex.

maybe ask how long till they will be able to do checks ... might just need to wait till the end of the month or something

That's bullshit. Call them and keep bugging them every day. Don't place any more wagers with them. Open an account with one of the sponsors above.

Good luck. Get your money out of them and use someone else. Be prepared to wait. And wait.

I bet a Super Bowl with them a few years ago and it took me until late March to get my money from them. They said my bank wouldn't accept the payment (through the same card that I deposited the money with), and when I suggested they mail me a check, they first told me they couldn't because the the transaction was still being processed with my bank. When I called my bank, they ran a trace and knew nothing about any kind of attempted transfer.

When they did finally send me a check, they deducted a fee for sending me a check. I think their hope is that you will get frustrated with waiting and just use the money on another play. Don't. Also, they have all your info from the card you used to make your deposit in the first place.

After about 4 weeks, I started to get really hot on the phone, their response was "Hey, it's not in our best interest to not pay you." When you talk to their customer rep next time, ask for a supervisor and tell them if you don't have your money in a few days, you are going to plaster their name on every betting forum you can find, calling them out for the crooks they are.

BTW, if someone from BetUS is reading this, I've probably cost you a few dozen customers over the years, as you have an ad on a website I frequent often, and I am very quick to bring up my bad experience with you jackoffs. And I'm going to continue to do it. Matter of fact, I'm going to wander over to that site and link this thread in the hope they boot your ad off the site. All because you stalled on sending me a check for a measly couple hundred bucks.

Payback is a bitch.

Thank you everyone. This is very helpful. I'll make sure to keep bugging them and calling them. So I take it, it's not safe to give them all that information?

I'll take your advise Bobtheicon and close my account with them and open one with one of the sponsors here. This forum is so great. I'm glad I landed here from cappersaccess. Thank you all again. Very much.

I'm sorry this happen to you. I just hope they've learned their lesson an pay me sooner than that. Thank u for sharing that with me. I just wish I did more research on them before I kept depositing money! Err

my advice is to get the money out of there in whichever way possible . DONT tell them u are closing the account till u have been paid. THEY HAVE STIFFED THOUSANDS of people. be careful and imo sign up with betjamaica or 5dimes as they both have fast payouts and low juice options. Also BetFirstClass is home of 24 hour payout and the head guy there posts here so your money is safe.

I haven't deposited money (yet) with any of the sponsors of this site. I admit it's a hangover of the BetUS fiasco. But, there does seem to be a number of happy customers on this site, so before you go through this again, ask around in here and see what people say.

One tidbit of information that may also be useful. Find a bank with a no fee checking account. Open an account there and use it only for gaming purposes. Make sure you can make ACH transfers from your primary bank. I do this and why you ask? Since I never leave money in the account, I don't mind if Betus or someone else asks for banking information. Usually any money in the account is there less than 24 hours before I withdraw it or move it to another account. I use the account no all of my gaming needs including FullTilt, Pokerstars etc.

See if they transfer with any books and get your money out of there ASAP and get into Bet First Class or BetJam. That book sucks
