Poker after Dark

It was the one poker show besides the WSOP I could stomach but my god lately it has been horrible. The one I just watched had Ferguson, Hellmuth, Lederer and a couple of other squares. These guys play soooo tight, horrible for tv. They are so afraid of looking bad . Esfandiari and Matusow making fun of Hellmuth is about the only reason I still watch.

Kaplan good too, at least he mixes up his plays a bit. Chris Ferguson is a horrible poker player by the way.

it was the best poker show hands down...now they have that douche doing the announcing and since poker stars is the sponsor of the show the cast of players is pretty bad...no full tilt sponsored pros obviously

My favorite poker show is "PokerStars.net Big Game" .. Show always has a rookie going up against the pro's .. they call the rookie "The loose cannon" ... Might not be available in your area but it is a good show..

I agree with Poker after dark ... good poker show but they do play tight .... as far as High Stakes I disagree with liking Kaplan as the announcer ... the guy never shut up ...

McDonald does suck!!!! I love how pro players think they are the only ones that can play poker and novice players beat them quite often...

PokerStars The Big Game Presents New Host
Mar 20 2011
When the popular tv-cashgame show 'The Big Game' sponsored by PokerStars.com returns this June with its second season, it will be with a new voice from the commentators seat, since Chris Rose has chosen to quit.

During the first seasons 60 episodes of The Big Game, PokerStars gave the go-a-head to the second season of the tv-cashgame show. It happened in Las Vegas back in February, where it also has come out that Cirque Du Soleil founder Guy La Liberté will participate in the new season of The Big Game.

But it is not only at the table itself that people are debuing when the show returns on the american tv-channel FOX and on Pokerstars.tv.

In the commentators seat Chris Rose are replaced by Scott Huff, earlier host on Poker2nite. This was all revealed earlier this week in a PokerRoad Radio broadcast.

'Scott Huff is now officially the new play-by-play host in the PokerStars.net Big Game', said Joe Stapleton who will continue on The Big Game as the second commentator on the show. At the same time, Joe Stapleton underlined that Chris Rose Not have been fired, but chose the go himself, presumably because he had been offered another and more attractive position somewhere else. 'They didn't get rid of Chris Rose'. Chris Rose chose to leave the show, and he will have some bigger news to present himself, said a rather amused Stapleton.
