You are going to win about the same number of pots as everyone else in the game if everyone plays long enough. The stats tend to even themselves out eventually if the players are on an equal skill level. Pot size is the name of the game. The object of poker is to risk the least amount of money to gain the greatest reward. Your risk-to-reward ratio is the name of the game, and this is where "pot odds" figure in. If you play stud, either 5 or 7 card, or draw, this is essential. Omaha and Hold 'Em depend more on luck than the Stud or Draw games do. It takes a lot less skill to play Hold 'Em than it does to play stud, but Hold 'Em draws more money. If you really want to see the way poker is suppose to be played, check out some of the big limit "back alley" games that many cities have. What you see on TV is edited, and does not come close to showing real poker players at their best. 7 or 8 guys head on, with a $50,000 buy in is real poker. Not some tournament you can enter by winning something on the internet.
