poker ?s

I'm a decent player nothing that great nothing that bad basically average.

my biggest problem is being patience. Can anyone help me with that or have something to read about it. i'm a gambler so I would rather get all the chips in blind and go for there, but not great idea most of the time.

Patience.

Ideas on how to improve?

A will to win.. maybe play for an amount where it financially matters whether you win or lose, so you will be more concentrated on making the best play for that table, even if it is playing 3 hands in an hour.

Everytime you move all in, get a room-mate or buddy/wife/girlfriend to cut off a finger, you won't move all in more then once, I can guarentee you that lol.

Just convince yourself, that it is better to win 100$ a day, 365 days a year. Then win 1,000$ a day, and lose 1,000$ the next.

I struggle with money management at times, in gambling and in life, but have taught myself that if I wan't to be successful in the future, I have to be smart now.

Brunson's Super Systems book is 50$ CDN....if its super system's that your talking about Pitt..and honestly it isnt really worth buying unless you play all the different types of poker. If you are looking for books on hold 'em, there are 3 i recommend...1...was the first book I ever read it was a beginners guide to Hold 'em, really good book telling you which hands to play etc...for the more advanced player, there is really only one book ive found interesting...and even then its kinda sketchy...but phil gordon'S little blue book of hand analysis was kinda kool....and his little green book on poker theory goes along with it....i gotta say that really its all about playing....like anything else, the more you play the better you get...cheers.

thats terrible man.....not that i know much about playiing poker...but with good hands so like all pocket pairs all Aces that are 10 and above or any suited ace K-10 and above Q-J 10-J suited a standard tournament raise is 3x the big blind....then play the flop only if you hit it...just a good starting point...cheers.

A good idea is to set a goal.. maybe a week from now or a month or a year, and work towards that... Don't try to achieve it in one day..

If your goal is 10,000 for 100 days. Don't try to win the the 10 grand one day, try to win 100$ each day. Much easier. (As I stated before)
