In a rasied pot, your in the small bind or bigblind you hold 89 flop comes 88Q here I want you to lead out with a bet, Many ametures will check raise and lose all value because the preflop raiser might fold or jusst call, but if you lead out with a bet right away it is most likely the preflop raiser will raise you then you raise again for 3 bets instead of check rasing for just 2 bets or even no bets if the player folds. So by doing this you get an extra bet. If you lead out the raiser will never belive you.

Probably depends on how you've been playing up to this point. If you had been bluffing a lot, then betting out is probably a good idea, because you will likely get called or raised here. If not, you're not likely to get raised on the flop here, especially if the pre-flop raiser is holding AK, JJ, TT, and the like. Holding those hands, the pre-flop raiser might even fold if you bet out in first position here, but they would likely bet into you if you check. Again, in my opinion, which way to go depends on your table image at the point this situation comes up.

your table image is what determines this, i am makin a fukkin living off these chumps online, this shyt is gettin crazy, every other NL tourney i enter,, i place for doe, and ive won just in the last three nights a total of 1700 dollars getting into $5 buy ins with anywhere from 35 to 500 seats, i am raking in some easy money here, these folks online cant even play, im lovin this shyt, my average placing is about 3rd, i dont care if its a multi table with 400 peeps or a 16 seater, i win em all, i had to set up a new acct. with a new id in my beezys name becasue folks were running from me,,

but yea this poker tip can only be applied to certian situations especially if your in NL betting out of position you have to take that fukker down and quit bs'n make em pay if they wanna see cards, i bet heavy out of position here and these idiots call me w AK thinkin im bluffin, what idiots,, but if these no flush draw out and your in position you have to get chips in the pot, check it to the aggressive bettor trap his ass and small bet the tight player try and get him to come over the top,, or hope he gets his fake ass pair on a turn and bets out,, this shyt is waaaay to easy, people log in and donate their money,,

i will tell you guys how to win these quick tourneys where the blinds are raising crazy fast,, do not play early,, i dont care what cards you get unless you have pokets kk or aa you fold up and let the bad players build their stacks, theyll give it all to you very soon, just keep watching do not play shyt out of position period, and dont play till the blinds are big and pots are worth getting into,, people get pressured here and make bad choices,, if your on the button and can see a cheapcall ok, but get out that fuker if you dont have the nuts on the flop,, i fold many winning hands early, cause there isnt any real money to be made early, but the risk is very high to be outed by a shitty player,,

where good plyers go wrong is trying to play these chumps early, and outplayem and build good position, not a good idea, i play at a site witt tons of fish and these are the most dangerous becaus theyll do some stuipid shyt and get lucky,, so i let em bet and get lucky and build their stacks, and i just watch and know thier every move , by the middle of the tourney most bad players luck has run out and the average players become predictable as shyt,, and best of all they think your a chump that folds and gets muscled out of every pot because theyve watched yoube passive the whole tourney, and your a lil short stacked by now so decent players start musclin up and tryin to out your ass and next thing you know your chip leader,, than i just sit back wait for the nuts and the trip to the final table, taking some blinds from tighties every so often,, so now your set to trap their ass cause they think your timid timmy,, that folds up,,, this shyt is just wwwwaaayyyyyy to easyy,, no matter how big the buy in or how many players your only really playing against usually about 5-10 real players, everyone else will eliminate themselves,,

always lead out when your weak hand becomes very strong after the flop. the check raise immediatelt states you are strong. a good bet is 1/2 the pot.

Of course, you could check and call on the flop, and then check-raise on the turn if you really wanted to go for it. I still think whether these strategies work or not depends a lot on how you've been playing up to that point.
