Hey man. I was thinking of going to watch the 1st 2 rounds of March Madness in Miami next year. I saw that you said you went to watch rounds 1 and 2 in Tampa this year and I just wanted to know how much did your tickets cost for rounds 1 and 2?

Thanks

REALLY? THAT CHEAP?.. is that final row? thats mad cheap.. I was looking on ebay and four elite 8 and such I saw most tickets atleast a few bills..

How much do you think it would be for round 1 and 2 collectively, if I wanted to see all 5 games at the arena next year. Don't care where I sit, just don't want to be too high..

would like to do this with a few friends next year in Miami..
Fly to Miami Thursday and watch games at bar at night or whatever.. friday go to the games and drink.. saturday go out see the city and beach, get drunk watch games party or whatever.. sunday see the other 2 games.. and drink LOL.. head back to university Monday

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

lol been to Miami countless times. Everytime I go to Orlando usually head off to St. Pete Time forums (I know its not in Miami) or American Airlines arena to see the Leafs/Raptors play. But thats usually with family. Never been to Miami with friends.

I think it would be a fun trip. Just got back Sunday from an 7 night all-inclusive vacation to the IFA Bavaro Village resort in Punta Cana with 16 friends/people I know. If I can handle that and the drinking that happened on that trip, I think I can handle 4 days in Miami. lol.

Pitt-

In the 9 years i have been doing this the prices vary. I think the NCAA is starting to get wise as to where people want to go. Tickets are anywhere from $150 to $200 for all 3 sessions which would be 2 games during the day and 2 games at night for the first day and then 2 games on the second day.

I paid around $198 for Tampa.

I am either going to Miami or Minny next year. I usually pick a spot where its either A. Warm B. Very easy to get around.

I have been to Boston, Milwaukee, Birmingham, Orlando, Tucson, Salt Lake City, Chicago (twice) , Tampa!!

Miami is going to be held where the Heat play and I can tell you from experience that on that first day you want to be near where you are staying because its a VERY VERY long day of hoops and you want to be near your hotel to be able to leave early and walk somewhere if there is a blowout or you just get really tired of 8 hours of basketball and need a break.

Tickets for next years first/second round and also regional rounds are going on sale (application) Monday...so keep an eye out on NCAA Basketball.com for links to the sites so you can send your application in.

i called the Univ of Minny Ticket office and they said that on Monday the 24th of March that Tickets would start to be available.....

now here is the catch. Some sites allow you to buy now, and then MOST have you fill out an application and fax it in as its first come first serve.

you get your application in on the first or second day you will be in the 100 level no matter what. they wont charge your credit card until around May or June
