Posters Credibility Here...? For Mods

Dr. Jack this is a question for you and the mods. I'm not going to mention names, just numbers. Do you not think it is unfair for a poster to constantly pad his numbers and mislead any possible followers on this board? In the last two days alone there has been a member who has been way off on claiming that he has only lost a certain amount and it reality its been way off. I've seen this member do this many times. I'm not here to start problems, but I do believe that it is one of your rules that members should be credible here. And I do believe that if members are going to post what they won one day, than when they lose they need to be accurate with their losing amount. I do not think its fair for members who are being mislead. Thank you!

I agree 100%. Claiming you are doing far better than you really are can only hurt the board if others are tailing someone because they think they are hot. We are all responsible for our own plays, but it is also irresponsible to claim you are winning games you really aren't. No good can come out of that.Honestly I haven't noticed anyone doing that but I'm not looking at everyones posted record consistently. I'm assuming it's true if you have noticed it though.

Caveat emptor

Caveat emptor is Latin for "let the buyer beware".

Before statutory law, the buyer had no warranty of the quality of goods. In many jurisdictions, the law now requires that goods must be of "merchantable quality".

Everyone here is on the so called "honor system".
Quanity over Quality in many cases

That is for us to decide

Agreed! I've been gambling for years and there are a few things you never, ever do!
  1. Bet without doing your own research
  2. Trail someone because you think they are hot
  3. Trust information in a public forum - Ever heard of PUMP & DUMP!

I agree all posted records should be accurate, but I give the benefit of the doubt that any errors are unintentional. You ever see Lang or Lenny post when they lose, LOL.

Just my 2 cents. More time capping and playing cards, less time verifying records.

Disclaimer: Fade me or trail me, but you do so at your own risk! This is gambling and trust me you could lose, just ask my bookie! No "megastar galaxy lock of the years or game of the week/year, unless otherwise posted I play everything to win 1 unit! If you lose trailing me, I don't want to hear any crying!

Yes it matters

Read before you post in Main Street, Basement or anywhere

Read the announcement. There is an issue on credibility. Follow the instructions. I will look for your email.

The bottom line is never trust what you read on the internet. I will go out on a limb and say 25% of people actually bet what they say and how much they say.
