Posting tip # 101 ...
Posting tip # 101
When typing try to limit line characters to 50 per line . Reason : If you just type and type , it goes over 90 characters , and makes for "tired" reading. Human eyes tend to move back and forth. By keeping your line length short , you save your readers patience and interest . Use "short" paragraphs. When you give "your viewer" some breathing room to read it , its easier to read, rather than an entire post in one continual typing mode ... 75% of all emails are deleted after just 25 lines due to lack of interest (How many work emails do you get and delete within 30 second?) Keep in mind why you are posting ( i.e. to reach some form of audience or viewership) I have been guilty myself of writing some stuff too long in the past. How often have you looked at a thread and within 10 seconds decided , this is too much work to "read" ... For example I could post I think that The Cardinals will win this week because, or The Cardinals will win this week because Same idea, shortened the sentence... You know its me writing the post , so why do you need to know what I think? Just my thought of the day.. Try and develop your own "writing"/posting habits ... Thoughts?
