Prayer does help
Dear friend of mine lost his colon to colon cancer about 4 years ago. Since then he has had a hip replacement and finally was able to get back to fishing and enjoying the simple things in life. Jim is 57 yrs old and today we found out that the cancer is back. Its now attacking both of his lungs and his pelvis. Jim is a vietnam war vet who took me fishing and hunting while growing up in a small town in northern california. One of those guys growing up I always knew I could count on. Please, if you have a prayer list at you church or if you could add him to your prayers it would be greatly appreciated. For those of you over 40 please get your colon checked, it may sound gross and this may not be the place to say this but I don't want anyone to have to go thru this. Thanks

I lost my buddy today. Jim passed away today after a long battle with Cancer. My heart is broken and this world lost a class act. Cancer takes way to many people. Jim Monroe was a man among men. RIP Jim you will be missed. 64 is way to young.
