Good question. Demand will go down after summer which in turn shoud drop oil prices, but i don`t see that happening. I will say $4.50 a gallon will be the national average on 1/1/09.

I am going to say it is going to go back down to 3.25. Remember in the 70's when gas was this high, it went down again. I have faith.
