THE ART AND SCIENCE OF PICKING GOLF WINNERS
1. CLOSER with CHARACTER. Certain guys see the finish line and cross it and others are destined for second place.
2. RELAXED CONFIDENCE, FOCUS and a HUNGER to win. It's a mental game and their mind has to be in the right frame with a determination and focus. As Harry Vardon said: "To play well you must feel tranquil and at peace. I have never been troubled by nerves in golf because I felt I had nothing to lose and everything to gain."
3. COURSE. Does the course layout favor the strengths of the golfer and does it expose their weaknesses. Previous form can change immediately for those who feel comfortable on a course and its greens.

Just need to prepare you. There is no way in hell he's going to lose in 2012 with the economy ready to bounce back and the daunting demographics facing the Republicans and who they are likely to nominate. He will get reelected in 2012 followed by a face lifted Hillary Clinton in 2016.

I don't know, I think voters are realizing a more conservative government is the answer since all the blue states are bankrupting.

What I handicap for politics, I don't go by what I read. Yes, you are correct, the blue states didn't gain population as quickly as the red states such as Texas, which gets four more electoral votes. New York, Pennsylvana, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and Iowa, all electoral states for Obama lost some numbers. Besides Texas, Arizona will gain a seat as will Florida, South Carolina and Georgia.

Florida is probably the only one in play for him, Washington a Dem state added one as did Nevada.

But those electoral numbers aren't going to decide this race.

The demographics is the Hispanic voters have trended heavily Democratic and their population continues to swell. By one count, the Republicans will have to win 44 percent of Latino votes to win the presidency. Others have it 40 plus. That isn't going to happen unless the Republicans nominate someone that Latinos like such as George Bush. No indication that will happen.

The voters who cast ballots for Republicans are dying off every day. Hispanics are having babies and every year millions of Latinos turn voting age along with other non Latinos who are trending Democratic.

A lot of the people who voted in 2008 for Obama skipped the mid terms. that is the american idol generation that will only vote for the top of the ticket. they will be back in two years and have more with them. The economy will be better which will help Obama and the Republicans based on the tea party influence are primed to nominate someone who fits their populism which has a lot of anger and bitterness to it. We as a nation don't vote for someone for president for those reasons. That works for Congress. Republicans will be a congressional party only and not a presidential party.

Those are older states with huge pensions due and huge union employee labor costs. They were reliant on manufacturing which has been eroding for decades due to worldwide competition.

A lot of states will declare bankruptcy to deal with those problems and yes voters may go more republican to deal with those problems because a lot of state races aren't held during the presidential run.

But overall, the Democrats are here to say to keep the White House for a long time. The Republican Party hit its most recent peak in November and is down hill from here. Their older white, angry bitter makeup is dying off every day. and I'm an older white guy myself, lol. That's the demographics.
You can't be a party that's anti minority and expect success going forward.
