Presidential plays

Have opinions on election plays?

In mind are--

McCain: URRE (nuclear)

Obama: STEM (stem cell research)

Like to hear more from all y'all...

I started a position in STEM @ 2.25. I will either add or drop it depending if momentum builds for Obama. This won't likely go anywhere for a while, longer term hold- month or two.

Should the polls be leaning toward McCain, URRE's a slam dunk.

Looks like I picked the wrong candidate to play right now
URRE had an unbelievable run today. I think it's due to the Republican National Convention going on with the expectations of nuclear power talk. Also, Barron's came out with an article stating they believe the value is somewhere around 20!! And a possible buyout candidate. This could have a mullti day run. The weakness into the close didn't give me any reason to buy after the run. Keeping an eye on it tomorrow.

This sticks as an issue and STEM runs regardless of who's leading. Check out this article

Starting to hear more stemcell related commercials or radio and tv. Just waiting for stems to talked about in any of the debates. McCain says he isn't against them and Obama says he's all for them. Pennies like STEM and ASTM could fly if just given the catalyst.
