Proper Way To Calculate Record With Juice?

I'm still a little confused on how to calculate +/- units in a record.

example: arizona -109 for 3 units.
If arizona won, 1-0 +3 units?
If arizona lost, 0-1 -3.27 units?

2nd example: arizona +125 for 3 units.
If arizona won, 1-0 +3.75 units?
If arizona lost, 0-1 -3.3 units?

any other problem areas that I'm missing?

thanks for any help

on the dog price if you lose, you only lose 3 units. losing 3.3 would only be on a line of -110

Dont worry about it. Be like some members and keep resetting your record everytime when you fall in the red.

LMAO

Hey man.. I dont care. If I get my ass handed to me or if I was wrong. Then I come back and be accountable for my actions. I always post my recaps. I learned this through many members like UPINYA83, Dave Nz and Shark23.

I never understood why some "try" to fool people by starting out at 0-0 when they know deep down inside they arent.

Oh no.. I fully understood.. Just saying, I dont think one should worry about what people think about their records. It is what it is.. Just be honest. Good Luck.

Let's not be confused here.
It is very simple, I'm doing it like this:

example 1: arizona -109 for 3 units.
It means you bet (or wager) 3 units on this play.

If arizona won, 1-0 , that means you made 3 x (100/109)= 2.752 units
If arizona lost, 0-1 you are down -3 units

example 2: arizona +125 for 3 units.

If arizona won, 1-0 , you made 3 x (125/100) = 3.75 units
If arizona lost, 0-1 you are down again -3 units

This is the correct way to calculate balances.

If Arizona is -109 and you bet three units and they lose, you would be down -3.27 Units. Have to calculate the juice to be accurate or what's the difference betwween posting a +185 Dog and a -190 favorite? Juice must always be included

If Arizona won you would be up 3 units

Les is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT here - and most people (even seasoned gamblers) get this confused.
You pay the vig when you WIN, not when you lose.
However, most people risk the 110 to win 100 on a -110 line because the math is easier. So, if I bet $110 and win, I have to give up 9.09% of my winnings for the vigorish - so I really win $10 less than what I bet.
$10 divided by $110 = .090909091

The winner gets back only 1.90909091 percent of the amount he put at risk!!
$110 x 1.90909091 = $210

So, really, the Bookmaker is a partner of the WINNER!! - That's who he collects his vig from. And the higher the odds, the more he collects:
Laying 12 to win 10 costs the winner 16.67% of his winnings. Pretty crappy if you think about it!!

As an example, if you play just -110 games and risk the same amount on each game, you would have to win 53% of them to just break even; and in order to win 53% of your bets, you must pay 4.82% in vigorish. Successful sports bettors who win more than 55 percent of their 11-10 bets typically pay more than 5% in vigorish.

Bookies love winners!! Losers play for free!!

You only win 90.90909091% of your bet in this -110 example.
So, if you want to win 3 units, then you are really betting 3.3 Units.
The loser does not pay a 10% vig. The winner pays a 9.0909091% vig.
