work on your lag putting. before each rd, find a spot on the outting green and outt to the Fringe. Putt so your ball hits the fringe and sits on the collar

Agree with jahred...

Quit thinking about the technical mess, just eye it up and pull the trigger

Putting is one of my strengths keys for me :

*Relaxed mind in between shots, then refocus when taking a shot (in this case putt)
*Be determined to always eliminate one way of missing-that is leaving it short
*Good golf footwear and clothing, putting is all about feel, appropriate footwear and clothing helps
*Don't overthink and positive and aggressive thoughts always
*keep well hydrated
*Practice putting before teeing off to get used to the course green speed
*Similar routine every putt

i am scoring as well right now as i ever have. mainly b/c of better putting. take it for what it is worth.
1. work on your grip(you want both hands to work together, i fought several different grips until i found the "reverse overlap")
2. open your stance a little(your eyes play tricks on you you need to be a little open for depth perception)
3. walk the putt(your feet will tell you alot)
4. practice putting 1-handed(your back hand, right if right-handed, when i putt i want the left hand to just be along for the ride)
5. get your putter checked for lie and loft and possibly fitted(my putter has been cut down to 32 1/2" and bent to 2* flat)
hope some of this helps. it has helped me play a few shots better. ask ron mexico from what i hear he is pretty good. good luck.

Get a "Truth Board." Dave Pelz sells them along with an instructional video. Pelz is THE authority on all things short game related. My father has been the golf coach at my former high school for 12 years and he makes all the kids use one of these. They have been the top golf program in SC during that stretch.

low and slow

2 practice strokes, 3rd stroke is the actual putt

1st practice stroke, look at the hole while you imagine hitting the putt to gauge the distance in your mind. 2nd stroke, try to repeat that same stroke while looking down at the putter. 3rd stroke, knock it in
