Question about juice
I've always been a very casual sports bettor but am getting more interested in it...
I'm wondering, is it better to add the juice to the amount you risk? Or just bet 1 unit - and have the juice taken off the amount won? I assume the answer is "it depends" but would like some insight into when/why to do what Thanks for any help! |

Welcome to the mall hammink
Best thing to do is base your bets around -120 or better. Those who take juice higher then that on a regular basis always crash and burn. Every successful sports gambler I know of is either a dog bettor (+ money) or a line (-110) bettor. On occasions when I really like something with steep juice I'll parlay it (never more than a 2 team parlay) in with something else I like.

p.s. check out pinnaclesports for lower juice! (Hope I'm not breaking a rule there since they are a sponsor of this sight.)
