question about taxes
im a college student, and i know the deadline passed but i just wondering if anyone knew anything about the lifetime learning credit for college students who pay themselves and are not dependents on their parents taxes. I only made around 7-8K last year as a part time delivery driver, however I did pay for most of my college expenses myself, now the question is can i receive the full 2000 dollar credit for the lifetime learning program, even though I only paid around 500 in taxes of which i got back all of it.
