question for any law enforcement..

ok so i was pumping gas, there's 5 cop cars huddled around each other i guess earning their living shooting the breeze. i look over and see two guys coming out the store and walking in the opp direction of the cops..next thing i hear "fck the poelice" i look over at the cops and one car takes off and the rest follows. they surround the guys with lights and the works. question is can they harrass these guys for just saying f the police?

thats what i thought also but the way these cops sprung on these guys, you wouldve thought they robbed the gas station. I thought it was an idiotic thing to do anyways to shout something that stupid with all those cops around.

One could say they were loud and disorderly or one could always find a reason to pull them over as well and lastly one could just laugh it off as well

Technically you can't be arrested for swearing. That's protected speech, but if you go off on him there could be a variety of charges ranging from disturbing the peace to obstructing official business. Whatever you do, don't threaten a cop. Why cuss him out? Have you ever thought of thanking one for helping to make your community safer?

stupid for sure...but shouldn't be pursued as criminals for it

Why not? In most cases people who would say that to police would have criminal records. Hence the grudge.

ill thank a cop for keeping my community safer when they do more than pull people over for busted taillights, rolling thru stop signs, going 5 over...that kinda shit is petty and reflects small dick syndrome in my opinion. IMO- most cops are pussies who could never make a living doing anything with intelligence, didn't want to work labor, and cant handle scheming and dealing.

While this obv. isnt true for everry policeman, it certainly reflects a large portion of them.

That being said- I do everything I can to avoid any/all confrontation with someone who wants to ruin peoples lives
