Reason #38 why living in CA is better than TX
Can't buy alcohol before noon.

I just tried to buy some beer but was turned away because it was 11am. WTF? How do people buy beer for football Sundays?

Yeah it was a grocery store. HEB. I'm in San Antonio so many other cities are different. Still gay tho

In MN no liquor stores open on Sunday. Can only buy 3.2 beer at grocery store. .

Pure Cali move. Texans too hungover from Saturday to look for beer on Sunday morning. We stock up on Friday for the weekend.

Exact same thing here. No store open Sunday. 3.2 in the grocery stores.

I remember when I lived in Alabama, every county was different. Ours sold no liquor or beer after Saturday night/Sunday morning at 2am. 7-11's, etc. were packed at 1:55am with people trying to stock up.
