Question Regrets....

so a buddy and I were talking about this down in New Orleans last week. Regrets....if we had any...etc.....

So, i was curious....do you guys have any serious regrets. Not traveling more, not taking a certain job, missing out on a certain woman...etc......

1. Not going to a big time University. I went to a smaller state school outside of Boston and I always wish I went to a BCS Conference school. I feel like i missed out on some things and cant identify with people that have that connection to their schools.

i put this in safe haven because it can be a serious topic depending on what people post...

One of my biggest regrets is I was a dick to my dad growing up (like a lot of teens) and unfortunately I didn't realize this until I was much older (and my kids were grown) and we were starting to get close and have a better relationship - but then he got the big C and died. I regret not taking some of his advice as well

too early for me to say i have real regrets...maybe down the line some time i'm sure.

only one would be not going to college in a different city maybe just to live there and experience it

as far as girls go, hard to say since i'm still young and not even ready to get married, but it would be not putting in the effort long distance with what i thought had the potential

im happy to have lived / worked in Boston, West palm beach, Atlanta, and now Chicago. Its been nice to experience different places and people for sure.

yes, you are young and i bet there are hundreds of thousands of people that regret getting married at a very early age and not being able to experience many years of single life and learning life on your own

ive been pretty lucky so far because i cant think of anything i truly regret.

Maybe having a GF my freshman year of college that was long distance, so stupid.

SOmetimes i regret not playing soccer in college, but sometimes i dont regret it because i had so much effin fun at Texas Tech.

i cant think of anything other than that..

I'm working on some solid regrets for a post later, but nothing yet. Have a history of bad decisions, but the only "regret" I have is walking away from baseball when I did. Could've led to something really special, or could've not. But that decision prevented me from ever knowing, and looking back on it now, it is something I regret doing.

I understand completely.

I'm with you WCI, I wish I would have gone to a bigger university and got to experience what everyone else gets too.....I also never got to attend my high school graduation and it sort of bums me out as I didnt get too feel that experience together with all of my friends. Also regret being stupid and getting locked up when I was younger....Ya live and learn, I guess...

with the theme of parents or loved ones passing away with strained relationships or not being able to get closure

my mother and i had a very tough life. i still havent forgiven her for alot of the things she put us through, but now she is struggling with Alzyhmers (spelling) and i feel like i need to step up and make sure im the better person and help out. will be going back to boston alot more to help out. Dont want something to happen to her and know that i didnt everything i could

also, another one for me is not working as hard as i could when it came to baseball....I played my whole life, pitched in high school and college and then just kind of lost the love. wish i would have kept going and really worked as hard as i could have!

I agree, I regret not trying to bang as many broads as I could when I was younger instead of smoking dope and goofing off with my friends.

I was pretty bad, met my wife when I was 20 and she straightened me out.
