Regrets....

I have a couple of regrets.

My dad had cancer and was in the hospital. I needed to make a business trip to Salida, Colorado. I told him I was going to cancel the trip and he said no do what you gotta do and I`ll see you in a few days. I went to Salida and 2 days later my mom called me and said my dad passed away. He was fine and very alert when I left. The doctor told me he had 3 to 5 months. I kick myself in the ass everyday for going.

Kyle, my brother in law and friend since Elementary School passed away suddenly passed away 4 years and 3 months ago at the age of 41. When my brother called me and told me about it I fell right to the ground and was in total shock. It was so bad that I didn`t even fly out to San Ramon, California for the funeral. I kick myself in the ass everyday for not going, but I just couldn`t pull myself together to fly out there.

Like a couple of you, I wish I would of experienced a bigger college. I went to a local college and lived at home.

I also wish I would have moved to Atlanta a couple of different times when my friend moved down there. I think about this all the time.

I also wish I wouldn't of started to smoke weed my senior year of high school and see how far my baseball talents would have taken me.
