Reliving the Glory Days

My friends and I joined a basketball league. Most of us havent played organized hoops since high school or college intermural hoops. Most of us are at least 10 years out of high school. The first couple games were rough and and lot of knee grabbing and gasping for air. lol We are 3-1 after 4 weeks and only lost the 1st game by 1 on a missed FT. Got our whole team back now and making a run. This is a blast. They have refs and scoreboards, the whole 9 yards. Good to get back in something like this even if its only 1 night a week. Anyone else playing adult ball? Worth the money and I reccomend it to all.

lol you aint a kidding. I could barely walk after the first couple of games. Last time I tried this I sprained my ankle and was out of commission for a couple of weeks. The watersports start here in a couple of weeks. Head to the lake every saturday and start drinking.

No hoops right now, though I'm itching to get on an organized team again as well. On a competitive co-ed beach volleyball team though - playing in that league is easily the highlight of my work week.

yeah bro they are fun for us old folk lol. I was in co-ed flag football but had to quit because 2 sports is too much for me in a week, but i was also in co-ed softball which was a lot of fun too and will probably do it again this year

From the looks of those pics of you in Hawaii, they called you "String Bean" on the beach too in your Speedo

Yeah, nothing like it to take your mind away for a couple hours. 10 years after high school I played in an adult tackle football league in Salem, Indiana. It was a blast! I led the league in rushing until I tore both ACL's. No more tackle football leagues. I did sub for a basketball league a couple weeks ago and had 22 points. We only had four players and still won the game. I want to et in a 35 and over league. I also love the coed softball leagues.

first thing you have to do is put the banana hamock back in the drawer surfers tend to frown on these things...lol...my advice to you is...start off with a long and wide surfboard something with alot of bouyancy. make sure the waves are very small we dont need hasltehoff slinging you over his back and draging you in to give you mouth to mouth...longboard and small waves...and in no time you can be doing this...http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/1...e2small5vk.jpg
