Loved both those guys!

Giraldo was genius. Was always great on the roasts!

Shimmel's CDs were all great. Very funny dude. His stand-up special after he made his comeback from cancer is funny, but touching when he talks about his disease and family and tough times dealing with cancer.

Just read the obit on Schimmel.

Can't believe he survived cancer (brain, I think) to die in a car accident. Terrible for his daughter, too. (She was driving, still in hospital.) So much of his act 10 years ago was about her going to college, dating, etc.

How do you know he was a junkie? Doesnt take much to OD on pain pills . Mix the wrong things with them and yer toast.
