RX drugs the downfall of youth

I went through high school during the late 70's, their were a lot of drugs and I participated in a lot of them. These days it seem every other kid is on OC's and they're are doing things that I would've never thought of. I have a 20 yr old who luckily isn't involved in any of them and despises them, however a good friend of our family, a good kid who my son grew up with and who my wife and I were good friends with before we moved to florida in 2000. He was just arrested for 3 armed and masked bank robberies along with stolen vehicles and armed home invasion. It comes to everyones attention now that he and the 4 others charged were heavily involved in OC's. What is going to be the outcome of destruction from this drug, I've never seen a drug bring such destruction in my life.

today is a different time for sure. It isnt very glamorous for kids to inject needles of h but im sure its cool to just pop some oxys.

when i was a freshmen in highschool I had to put out a ton of effort to buy a gram of herb, now these kids just need the money to get pills cause anyones got the hookup and thats where the stealing etc. starts

60's= $60

80's= $75-$80 PER PILL !!!!!

I know of guys selling their scripTs for like $5-6000 --yes thousands

Take a quarter of an 80 and you're flying. OC's are soooooooo addictive

Yeah, Knight. That's what it is here. A big bottle of Oxy goes for almost $10,000. We see these guys on the news that hold up pharmacies with a note, don't even have to show a gun, and get away with 3-4 bottles of Oxy. Could be worth up to 40k! Easier than robbing a bank and about 35k more profit on average.

Having had 9 leg surgeries, I've had scripts for Oxy a few times. Never had a problem, usually don't take them all (although I don't smash them up and snort them) but thought about selling them before. I just don't know the right people to do it.
