We'll probably be renaming this forum section soon but here's the deal

The Safe Haven Forum - This section is where sarcasm, smart asses, joking around and good lucks will not be tolerated. This will be a heavily moderated forum and is intended for members who want to have a serious conversation, debate, discussion without the humor, hijacking and lots of fun that goes on in other sections. Nothing wrong with some good humor, etc but we wanted to have a "safe haven" for the serious questions or debate. There will be no warnings issued. Any member that violates the guidelines of this section will be suspended from this section period. No exceptions

Also threads only meant to start something or just be goofy won't be tolerated either.

Inappropriate threads/posts may result in a temporary forum ban as well

No politics. Down the road we may consider opening that section up.

It's really a section that someone can ask a question without all the hoopla. We'll see what happens

This is greatly appreciated. I do feel that because of the bullying that goes on, we do not have the quality conversations that can be possible.

Hopefully this will allow people to feel more open to express themselves. Also, there is the chance some of these values can leak into the other forums. I believe this takes care of most of the problem, however I still think newbies have a tough time finding themselves because of the cliques.

Well we do try in the sports forums on the pick threads and I will probably focus a little more on that. Sometimes in the fan threads they get out of hand or sometimes a newbie comes in looking for trouble but don't get me wrong, I get it and we want new people!

In Main Street, that will be almost anything goes (obviously within reason or our guidelines) but all topics except for picks themselves.
