San Fran

Just got out here today. Wow, those stereotypes were no exageration. Drew would love it here lol. Anyway, will be in the Bay area all week. Anything out here I should do? I am scheduled for Alcatraz and Fishermans wharf, but would like a couple more things to see.

Dave- We going to meet up somewhere? I think you said you were about an hour from the East Bay, we could meet in the middle bro.

hahaha...its a funny city and area thats for sure. no other city like it. Fisherman's wharf is great, I go to the Ghiradelli factory and get a big ass hot fudge sundae every time i'm there...its great. Alcatraz is fun too, hopefully it will be sunny cuz then the boat ride over is great cuz the view of the city is awesome.

Does this mean that you won't be playing with me in the over 30 basketball league that starts tomorrow night in Greenwood? I actually found out about it tonight and thought about having you bring your skills down to Greenwood! I thought that I had heard you mention that you could play a little. Anyway, Have fun!

Im not sure how long the league is because I was asked to play in this a month ago and was told about it tonight that we have a game tomorrow night. It is at this church that has three full courts and an indoor turf flag football/ indoor soccer field. If I had to join a church, this one would be on the top of the list. Was that bad to say? In two years, I will pencil you in for the league......If I can still walk after my two ACL's........

Davey, you know of any good casinos around the Pleasanton area or within a couple hours? I wasnt aware they had casinos out here but now i am seeing they have a lot. I need one with a good poker room. Let me know when you find out more about getting together.

There are some smaller Casinos near there, but if you don't mind the drive, I would go to Bay 101. It's in San Jose, which is about 20-30 miles away from you. There's usually some traffic going into San Jose though. Bay 101 is where they have a WPT event.

About meeting up, unfortunately Tues night was the only night that was going to work for me. Tonight is the poker tourney and Thurs I have golf. We'll have to meet up next time. Enjoy the rest of your stay.
