Can't say I feel sorry for this guy, and by the way the bull was killed right after.

You know...here in Colombia they just finished their bullfighting season where the matadors come over from Spain during their offseason. I've been to a couple here but won't be going to anymore. It's pretty messed up watching some of these bull"fights" where the matadors basically take turns by impaling the bulls and then running out of the arena to be replaced by someone else. And this is during the introductions for the matadors.

I don't mean to offend anyone's cultural heritage or anything but in my humble opinion the whole thing is kinda rigged before it even starts. And this is coming from a guy who has ALWAYS wanted to, and still plan, to Run with the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain sometime in the next 2 years.

There were always quite a few Colombians protesting in front of the arena so I'm obviously not the only one. I've asked a couple of people here about what happens with the meat off the bull. I thought maybe if they donated it to the poor or something like that I would have less of a problem with it. But no one I asked seemed to know.

Anyways, I'm getting off my soapbox. But good for the bull!

No kidding...where? Living in La Candelaria near Unicentro right now. Absolutely LOVE it. Really don't think I'll be here in June though. Supposed to be going back in May. But hey... I was supposed to be here for only 6 weeks.

7 months later I'm still here...

Showed this picture and didn't realize until they pointed it out that this happened almost a year ago. Guess when it happened it was all over town.

They also told me the guy ended up living but is severely disfigured.
