Question Seafood or meat?

Are you a seafood eater? If so, what kind is your favorite?

Are you a meat and potatos eater? What do you like? dislike?

Any vegetarians?

Seafood - pretty simple for me (fried shrimp with red sauce is the fav)
Meat - gotta be the filet (medium rare)
I like most veggies, but plants are animals too

My favorite food is Tex-Mex. Can't live without it, and you can basically only get it in Texas. Southwest Mexican isn't that great. Mexican autentico (sp?) is pretty good too, just don't get it that often.

I can't eat meat unless it is WELL DONE. I know people say it takes away the taste but I just can't eat red meat that is pink (rare), especially hamburgers!

I can understand the hamburger part (I still get it med.), but with a steak, this is how I fool you well done folks...

Cook on super low heat, and keep turning it. I mean turn it even when you think you just turned it. It will be brown with a pink hue throughout. It's great that way. You don't see the pink and freak out. And, it is juicy and full of flavor. It goes without saying that you need good spices and should never need any steak sauce.

That's not the pink I'm talking about Jack.

A1 - I argue about that all the time with one of my friends who claims to "know good food." He's coming around... I used to use A1 when I was little and the steaks were well done. You had to add flavor and juice, right? That's my whole arguement of good seasoning and medium rare.

To each his own... I guess.
