No, not even close. the titanic hit an ice berg and sank in sub teen temperatures. This ship sank in the red sea where the water temps were over 65 degrees. Takes a LOT longer to die of hypothermia in that water!

I think he was referring to it being tragic and similar not neccesarily the same conditions of the water
