Shopping for Cars

First of all i'm only 23 so the car salesmen think i'm prime for the taking

Can not find a honest cars salemen for the life of me. First is anyone a car salesmen or has been one. Then what is the best way to go about it.

I have about 2 to 3k to put down and a decent credit score mostly just college loans starting to payback. not looking for anything great just a nice 2004/2005 mid sedan/small SUV, or even a 2006 Nissan Altmia trying to keep my payments $300 and under live in Buffalo so the markets not the greatest. Been dealing with people I know and feel like they are the biggest ripe off because they think they have your trust. Looked at a 2005 Nissan Sentra with 6k miles on it but they wanted 12,9 for it KBB as it trade in value at 9900 and they won't move what a joke trying to make 3k off it atleast. Just looking for some help. and everywhere I turn I feel like They are trying to take me for a ride right into thier pocket.

this whole thing just makes me want to then

Also Does anyone know about the 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara, A local company is offering 0% and a decent payment around $300 but i have never heard of Suzuki making a decent car.

You are young. They see you as an easy mark.
Are you female??
They also view those as easy marks.

I have the 04 Altima and love it. Haven't had one problem with it in the 3 years i have had it and i get 430 miles on a full tank. I live in NY as well and gas can get expensive here. It costs me 37 for a fill up on the average here.

if you want cheap, get second hand japanese car~

i am in Love with the G35. you can get a used one for a lot cheaper!
however, since you live up North, you should get a car that is AWD or Fwd... its much safer in the snow!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a 2005 G35. It's a great car. Fun to drive. The payments will be more than $300 though. Edmunds is a great place to get prices. TMV (True Market Value) will tell you what other people in your area are paying for the same exact car. Also, when they make you an offer, tell them you'll have to think about it. They DO NOT want you to leave. I guarantee that they put a better offer on the table. Also, go to other dealers in the area. I got prices from 7 different Infiniti dealers and used them against each other. One more tip, try to go into the dealership late in the month. They're usually desperate to make their numbers so they'll be more willing to give you a smoking deal. Also, going in the evenings is a good technique as well. They like to end the day with a sell. GL man.

Did you hear that they are releasing a GT-R Coupe in 2007.

After years of rumors and intense lobbying by Nissan enthusiasts in the U.S., Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn announced that his company plans to release a fully redesigned version of the legendary Skyline GT-R by 2007. The new version will take its cues from the GT-R concept car that has made the rounds at various auto shows over the past several years, and unlike its predecessor the GT-R will make its way to the U.S. With the 350Z already occupying a steady spot in Nissan's lineup, look for the GT-R to come Stateside wearing an Infiniti badge. A prototype caught testing on Germany's grueling Nurburgring test track made the rounds wearing a modified G35 shell, but obvious signs of modifications indicate it was no ordinary Infiniti. The car is expected to debut at the Tokyo Motor Show in the fall of 2007 and go on sale later that year.

How do I embed a picture into a post?
