Should Vick be suspended?

Imo...Roger Goodell needs to be across the board in his suspensions. He suspended Pacman Jones after he wasn't even convicted...and this is an indictment from the Federal Courts, and he is a big name player. I think its total bullshit if he doesn't get suspended

He should be. Also, if Pacman is allowed to go to training camp, that is just total BS. This league is a ****ing disgrace with all the Goddamn thugs and gangsters it employs. It blows my mind how someone could have the life of luxury thrown in their lap and STILL throw it all away. Ricky Williams, Tank Johnson, Pacman Jones, Michael and Marcus Vick, the WHOLE CINCINATTI BENGALS team, Rae Carruth, Minnesota Vikings Cruise Ship, Santonio Holmes, Albert Haynesworth..........we forget so many of these incidents ONLY cause new hoodlums and new problems arise so frequently. The NFL is a total joke. People are so pre-occupied with Baseball and Steriods. Since when did Barry Bonds make it rain, then hit a stripper and become responsible for someone being paralyzed for life? I dont recall Jason Giambi setting up illegal Dog Fighting in his backyard.....i might be a bit heated here, but at least MLB players know how to control themselves....but the players in the NFL or a bunch of classless, ignorant, pieces of shit.

I feel the NFL is the best at the media spin.
The NBA and MLB don't come close.

still, aside from Urbina, those guys, while still in the wrong, are much more respectable and law abiding than the NFL players. Again, it doesnt make it right, but players of MLB no where near as outta control as those in the NFL

I totaly agree that Vick should be suspended. Read the indictment. It is not as if it were a case about what he "should have known". His name appears over and over again. That entire family breeds losers.

Having said that, he will not be suspended and here is why. First, he has not been convicted yet like Johnson was. Second, he is not a repeat offender, like Jones is. Third, while suspending Johnson and Jones certainly do not help their repective teams (no matter who Johnson end up with), suspending Vick cripples Atlanta and kills their attendance. The NCAA wil wait until the trial is over, sometime next year, and then will suspend him for the length of his sentence, or 1 year, which ever is longer, if he is convicted.

IMO the falcons would be better of suspending him. Its going to be a huge distraction and they are not going to be geting any football questions all year, just questions on everything new and old in the case. No coaches like that no players like that, its hard to win football games when you cant get your guys to concentrate on them 24 7. If it was peyton manning it would be worth the distraction, but not vick. A ton of good plays are better then a lot of great ones, vick always goes for the great ones and it shows in their loss column.

Maybe the government can help out the Vick family and put both of the brothers(Marcus and Michael) in the same jail cell so the family only has to make one trip to a jail instead of two, LMAO!! Put both the Vick brothers in jail together, they both certainly deserve to be there
