Should or will the hall of fame have asterisks for steroid era

what do you think will be the case in lets say, 10 years or so.

Will guys like Griffey JR have anything at all next to his name just becasue he played in this so called steroid era ?

Will guys like BiG, Mac, Bonds , Clemens etc get in, with an asterisk noting that they were suspected users ?

I think baseball is in a non winnable situation as far as this goes and eventually need to just ' get over it ' and vote the players in on what they accomplished on the field

No, I don't think you will ever see an asterisk next to anyones name in HOF or the record books for that matter. I do think certain players will be left out of the hall because of the steriod era but no asterisks even if they get in...

If this was addressed to me, I never said Pete Rose should not be in the HOF. I think he should be 100%!!!! That wasnt the question that was asked...

one thought about roids.. what if they decide that in the 60's era they found proof that guys did ' speed ' of some sort to get Up for day games etc after night games.

they can't win...everyone needs to get in if deserving for on the field play

Give Babe Ruth an asterisk for inferior competition....give the hitters of the 60's asterisks for not facing specialized relievers....give the players of the 70's astericks for using uppers....gonna be a lot of asterisks in that book.....Barry might be the only one without one!

i had a President of one of the players in the category of accused but not committed club that told me this arguement for the new era players

he mentioned that years ago they played mostly day games and did not play against players of other race, thus lessening the quality of play. relief specialists were not around, the starters went much further than they do now... But parks were deeper.
