isnt that a classic scene

historically partly true but not quite.

actually the 'Moors' inhabited Southern Europe (Italy & Spain)

which is why norther spaniards and italian are blue eyued still

and south dark hair, moors are more like 'arabs'

The Moors who conquered Spain were of varying stock, mostly Berber from Morocco as well as Arab. The Moors are not considered to be of black pigmentation, or subsaharan origin, this is evidenced by population genetics which break down the haplogroups of the entire mediterranean. This picture amply describes what a Moorish ambassador looks like, as this is a portrait of one who visited the English Court, and also inspired Wm. Shakespeare's "Othello".

i have seen way too many flicks.............haven't watched the link that uva posted, but just by reading what you said rome, i know the clip's from true romance (great great great movie)...........tony soprano looks about 150lbs smaller in this movie
